    The only way to tell what Cindex really is is to download it and try.  If you don't trust the download, try it online as an SWF, just be aware that it doesn't have all of the features that the downloadable EXE does.

Look on the right panel to download the newest version of Cindex. The file is less than a megabyte, and should download fairly quickly even on dial-up.  The installers (Cindex.rar and Cindex.zip) are less than half of a megabyte, and install extremely quickly.  The current version of Cindex is 1.1.2.  Make sure you check back often for new versions!
